Storytelling
Bring in a favorite book or read a special
classroom favorite. Bilingual readers
are also welcomed. |
Being A Buddy
Spend a little one-on-one time with a child
enjoying puzzles, books, make-believe or
simply sharing a lap. A teacher will
partner you with a child or two. |
Lunch Bunch
Joining the class between 10:00-12:00 is an
enormous help as children transition from
morning activities, outside playtime, then
lunch and quiet time. You will be
given general guidance each time you come |
Takin' a Trip
Both preschool classes take occasional field
trips and would welcome volunteer
participation. |
Cooking Up a Storm
Whether it's playdough recipe or frozen
parfait, children love to cook. Be
sure to plan this activity in advance with
teachers, as well as hunt for suggestions
and ideas that may coordinate with current
curriculum. If thee is a grocery list
involved, please let us know one week in
advance. (State law requires that all
food be pre-packaged, prepared in a
commercial kitchen or on-site) |

Spending Time
There are so many things to do,
From entering data on the
